Object-oriented programming with Java additionally enables fast application development. In addition, KUKA is presenting the KR QUANTEC HC which offers a wide range of applications with a payload of up to 300 kg. Thanks to additional brakes, the KR QUANTEC HC has even greater safety with a reach of up to 2,700 mm. The robot’s personnel recovery system makes it possible to release the brakes manually and move the robot by hand in unforeseen situations, such as a power failure. The KR QUANTEC HC is equipped with a counterweight system and a pressure sensor that makes it possible to check the pressure during operation and stop the robot if the pressure drops.
