ArjoHuntleigh, a company created through a merger, exhibited for the first time its combined line and displayed several new products at the Medica 2007 event held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The products launched at the Medica event were the WoundASSIST TNP, a negative pressure wound therapy; The Enterprise 9000, a state-of-the-art hospital bed suitable for intensive care units; the AURA FREEDOM dynamic wheelchair seat cushion combining pressure redistribution and comfort; and Carmina, an advanced shower and commode chair developed for bariatric patients.

ArjoHuntleigh headquartered in Lund, Sweden, is staffed with 4350 people generating revenues about EUR 730 million. The company operates in more that 30 countries and its products are sold in over 100. Its five research and development sites are located in Europe and North America. ArjoHuntleigh together with Maquet medical systems and Getinge infection control compose the Getinge AB group with a total annual turnover of over EUR 1.7 billion.
