Chinese International Medical Exhibition to Showcase Latest Technologies

The Chinese International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition, China Med 2010 (Beijing, China), will take place March 26-28, 2010, with the active support of Messe Düsseldorf (Germany), the organizer of Medica, one of the leading international medical trade fairs worldwide.

China Med 2010 will feature medical equipment showcased by more than 500 exhibitors from 20 countries. Exhibit categories will include medical diagnostics and imaging equipment, as well as surgical instruments and medical software, electromedical technology, hospital equipment, and information technology (IT) products. New additions for 2010 will include the medical information and application pavilion, the medical consumables pavilion, the orthopedics pavilion, the dental equipment pavilion, and the rehabilitation and physical therapy pavilion. High-profile seminars will support the exhibits. China Med will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf China, the China World Trade Center Co. (Beijing), Hui Tong Xing Ye International Exhibition Co. (Beijing, China), and the Health Department of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Med China has been held for 19 years, and in recent years has the venue for the event has been at the China International Exhibition Center in the Tianzhu Airport Business Center (Shunyi District) of Beijing, which is only 1.5 km from Beijing Capital International Airport. The exhibition area is planned at 29,280 square meters. The total visitor number is expected to be 30,000, including over 1,000 professional buyers for medical equipment from military hospitals and 200 buyers from civil hospitals, and most of the trade visitors will be from medical institutions.
