China Med 2011 Offers Opportunities in Expanding Health Market

CHINA MED 2011, which will be held during March 25-27, 2011, will feature the latest medical equipment presented by more than 500 exhibitors.

China Med 2011 will be staged at the China National Convention Center (Beijing), on an exhibition area of 30,000 m2. Exhibit categories will include medical diagnostics and imaging equipment, surgical instruments, medical software, electro medical technology, hospital equipment, and information technology (IT) technology. Visitors are expected from the hospital, clinic, emergency center, medical university, rehabilitation, and nursing center areas, as well as from the government sector and science and research institutes. Visitors will include retailers, distributors, wholesalers, importers, and exporters.

Among the highlights of the exhibition are the medical consumables hall, boasting an exhibition area of more than 1,000 m2 and over 100 exhibitors, including domestic enterprises such as Shandong Weigao, Sekisui Trank Medical Technology (Beijing, China), and Tianjin Hanaco Medical (Tianjin, China), as well as prominent international enterprises such as Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, Stryker, and others. The range of consumables cover five major categories, including medical polymer materials and products, disposable sterilization/injection/centesis products, orthopedic products, sanitary materials, and dressings and medical suture materials and adhesives.

China Med 2011 will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf China (Hong Kong), the China World Trade Center (Beijing), the China Hui Tong Corporation (Beijing), and the medical department of the general logistics department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

The previously held China Med 2010 attracted 510 exhibitors from 20 different countries and regions and 26,518 trade visitors from 48 nations and regions, including China, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, UK, USA, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Germany, Japan, South Korea, and the United States highlighted the show with national pavilions.
