ResMed Acquires BiancaMed, Enhancing its Product Line

ResMed Inc. (San Diego, CA, USA), a medical device company specializing in products for sleep-disorder diagnostics, management, and treatment, announced its acquisition of BiancaMed Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland), a medical technology company. The acquisition will become part of ResMed's new ventures and initiatives unit.

BiancaMed's innovative technology monitors sleep using biometric software, making it contact-free and accurate. Its proprietary technology is being developed for a variety of medical and consumer applications.
