Some of the world's leading experts on ventilation research will share their expertise and clinical insights at the Symposium on Acute Lung Injury—From Basic Science to Bedside Application, to be held in Strasbourg (France), September 12-13, 2005.Posted on 29 Jun 2005
The event will be chaired by Dr. Arthur Slutsky, professor of medicine, surgery, and biomedical engineering at the University of Toronto (Canada). The symposium will feature speakers from Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United States. The speakers will discuss topics ranging from lung recruitment strategies, to cellular and tissue stress failure, to gender and genome in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
