Cardiologists to Convene in Stockholm

The 23rd Annual Congress of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) will beheld in Stockholm, Sweden, September 1-5, 2001. This year's meeting will be held together with the 36th Annual Meeting of the Association for European Pediatric Cardiology (AEPC).Posted on 31 Jul 2001
More than 22,000 visitors are expected to attend this major event on the international cardiology calendar.
Highlights of the scientific sessions will include Hot Line Sessions, with the results of major new trials and a new Update on Recent Clinical Trials session. Focus Sessions will be presented on a case basis with illustrations and live demonstrations. A Highlights Session will summarize the most important findings and concepts of the meeting. In addition, awards will be given to the brightest young investigators in both clinical science and cardiovascular science.
