New features of a hemodynamic monitoring system enable doctors to collect patient data, have a choice of data visualization formats, and customize their management reports.

A compact patient data module integrates 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) capability, respiratory rate, two to four invasive pressures, SpO2, thermodilution output, and a programmable ECG or invasive pressure analog output. The new waveform visualization software gives doctors the flexibility to view data output in multiple formats or on one easy-to-read screen. Called Vericis PhysioLog, the system is the product of Camtronics Medical Systems (Hartland, WI, USA) and part of the company's Vericis for Cardiology information system.

"PhsioLog not only helps clinicians collect accurate data, it allows managers to use the data to assess performance and drive improvements in efficiency and patient care,” said Robert Schallhorn, business manager of Vericis PhysioLog. "By using PhysioLog's unique reporting tool, our customers have documented that complex reporting tasks that previously took weeks now take hours.”
