Platform to Automate Experiments and Manage Data

New software automates experiment designs without the need for programming. The platform features a batch builder, which enables research personnel to track projects and report results when plates, stacks, or racks of a project are split into batches. Samples and compounds from multiple projects are processed as one batch.

The software has Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) support and centralized configuration management. It provides shortcuts that allow users to bookmark and access experiments stored in a model server. User enhancements include table data entry, number formatting, a query builder, and auto scrolling.

The XDA 2.8 software was developed by Teranode Corp. (Seattle, WA, USA), an innovator of software that integrates in-silico and laboratory experimentation. Larry Arnstein, chief technology officer for Teranode, stated that "Teranode XDA's workflow feature provides a patented technique to dynamically track individual compounds or samples and associated data across plate structures within an experiment.”

He added "The new batch builder feature extends this flexibility by allowing compounds and samples from multiple projects to be processed in the most optimal manner, while providing tracking and reporting for each project individually.” This latest version of the company's informatics platform is available immediately.
