New Frozen Cell Line Available for Enterovirus Diagnosis

The smallest clinical laboratories can use a new frozen cell line for enterovirus diagnosis.

The ReadyCells are provided as confluent monolayers in shell vials and stored frozen at -70° C for up to six months, allowing laboratories to keep the cells from a single production lot available while minimizing cell waste. Cells are thawed on the ReadyCells heat block as needed and ready to inoculate with clinical specimens in four minutes.

ReadyCells provides flexibility to all virus culture labs. Large users gain benefit when the test volume exceeds expectations, and the frozen inventory helps eliminate weekly shipping costs for smaller volume laboratories.
