The CE Mark guarantees that the products are in compliance with European in vitro diagnostic standards and directives. Diffuplate is a comprehensive name for a number of about 25 different in-vitro diagnostic products intended to measure specific proteins in biologic fluids by quantitative radial immunodiffusion. These assays are designed to aid the diagnosis of infectious, autoimmune, and nutritional diseases as well as cancer and coagulation disorders.
The company's products are manufactured at a GMP-approved facility in Buenos Airies and are exported to 25 countries in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Biocientifica intends to obtain the CE mark for the rest of its products by December 2002.
