A new line of surgical retractors has helped hospitals standardize successfully with a single retractor set that can be used by the entire surgical staff.

The Omni-Flex, made by Omni-Tract Surgical (St. Paul, MN, USA), is a table-mounted surgical retractor system that offers hands-free access to the operative site, providing optimal exposure in a wide range of situations, including vascular, general, urology, orthopedic, pediatric, transplant, and other surgical procedures. The new system offers added strength for larger patients and gives surgeons the flexibility needed for both minimally invasive and standard procedures.
