The SOLED 15 has been designed to harness powered LEDs in a distribution pattern that produces a highly linear yield, providing visual comfort and a uniform, homogeneous, shadowless, and infrared (IR) spectrum free light beam. As a result of the high efficiency achieved, the SOLED15 can generate 65.000 lux light intensity, a color temperature (CCT) of 4.900 K, and a color rendering index (CRI) of 95, a combination that allows the reproduction of the exact chromatic scale of the colors of the human body. The lamp uses a low power energy consumption of just 22 Watts, with negligible performance decay for its entire life duration.

The SOLED 15 is provided with an I-Sense series touch panel to control all the functions of the lamp, including power control, light intensity adjustment, parts selection (SEL), and brightness increase (BOOST). The SEL function allows the selection of single parts of the light beam and the activation of the desired LEDs in a sequential pattern. The BOOST function is used to obtain a maximum light intensity in case of a wide light field; the approximately 10% increase deactivates automatically after five minutes.
The rounded shape of the lamp head renders it both functional and easy to move, thanks to a removable and sterilizable handle that facilitates critical sanitary applications. The SOLED 15 is a product of ACEM Medical Company (Bologna, Italy), and is available in ceiling, wall, and trolley mounted versions.
