Surgeons to Hold Congress in San Francisco

The 88th Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons (ACS, Chicago, IL, USA) will be held October 6-10, 2002, in San Francisco, CA (USA). The event will feature 30 postgraduate courses, more than 150 hours of general and specialty sessions, and hundreds of scientific and technical exhibits. The Surgical Forum, a three-day presentation featuring more than 300 research-in-progress reports, is another highlight of the meeting.

The congress will offer timely programs and sessions on such topics as: The Surgeon and Biotech Revolution; Stem Cells in Clinical Practice; and Unconventional Acts of Civilian Terrorism: Likely Agents and Strategies for Preparedness.
