Advantech iHealthcare (Taiwan, R.O.C) showcased its newest line-up of products as well as its partners’ solutions at MEDICA, the world’s largest medical trade fair that was held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 12-15, 2018. More than 5,000 international exhibitors presented their new innovative products and applications at this year’s edition of MEDICA.
The company’s booth at the event was divided into three zones, each with their own goal: the iHealthcare zone showed products geared towards the intelligent and IoT connected hospital, whereas the mDMS (medical Design & Manufacturing Services) zone showcased how Advantech can partner in building and designing custom medical devices. Finally, the company’s partner zone demonstrated medical solutions for various application scenarios.
In the iHealthcare zone, Advantech presented its Point-of-Care Solutions with the POC-W243 and others from its POC-Series. Among others, the company also presented its medical tablet AIM-55, its medical certified battery solution for mobile computing, medical surgery displays from Advantech Kostec, and its 4K near-zero latency video streaming solution for hospitals.
In the mDMS zone, the company’s medical team offered design and manufacturing services to create medical devices for clients, or adjust an existing one to the client’s needs. This included custom open frame PCs, medical LAN cards, motherboards and more.
In the partner zone, the company’s partners showed their solutions created with Advantech iHealthcare hardware. The company’s partners at MEDICA 2018 included INTER which showed its proven software interface for operating theatres, now embedded in Advantech’s AVAS solutions for video, archiving and streaming. Another Advantech partner at the event was ClinicAll, which demonstrated the ClinicAll software for hospitals and the ClinicAll App that enables iOS and Android devices to access the medical services. Alpahtron Medical, also an Advantech partner, displayed the AMiS all-in-one mobile carestation, which provides all the necessary technology to work safely, hygienically and mobile within one system.
