Agfa HealthCare (Mortsel, Belgium) exhibited its latest innovations in diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions for hospitals and care centers at Arab Health 2021.
Agfa highlighted its Enterprise Imaging Platform, a groundbreaking technology designed to put CIOs in control of costs and personnel to catalyze care delivery transformation by providing clinicians with on-demand access of patient-centric image information to support collaboration and diagnostic confidence. With a single, comprehensive patient imaging record across the entire enterprise, image acquisition and retrieval are fast and easy, while system efficiency and performance are optimized.
Agfa exhibited the XERO Universal Viewer that enables borderless care team collaboration, allowing unlocking of secure, intuitive access to multi-departmental images. “Anywhere, anytime” access to the patient’s holistic imaging data gives the entire care team information they need for timely, informed clinical decisions. It provides care providers with the mobility to access and upload images and to perform diagnostic activities, all at the point of care. With patient information structured using sophisticated data presentation tools, caregivers can quickly and easily find the relevant information they need for diagnosis and treatment, within a more complete overview of the patient’s condition.
Agfa demonstrated the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in its RUBEE™ for AI that operates as part of the Enterprise Imaging platform to offer a seamless AI experience for clinicians. Carefully curated ‘packages’ embed best-of-class AI apps that work seamlessly to support real clinical workflow from start to finish. With RUBEE™ for AI, users can embed Agfa’s AI specialty packages into their clinical workflows. RUBEE visualizes the metadata generated by algorithms and uses that information to automate and optimize workflows, all within the user’s Enterprise Imaging ecosystem. RUBEE™ for AI helps clinicians to focus their efforts on cases that require immediate attention.
At Arab Health 2021, Agfa highlighted its MUSICA Technology, an advanced image processing software that consistently provides the high quality images needed to support the diagnosis. With its customer-driven workflow and powerful, innovative features and functionalities, the MUSICA technology incorporates more than a century of medical imaging know-how. MUSICA Technology makes all DR and CR imaging workflows - including general radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, Full Leg/Full Spine and tomosynthesis - smooth and efficient.
