An ultrasonic imaging system helps anesthesiologists and other clinicians visually locate and identify veins and arteries for precise needle placement before attempting vessel cannulation.

Called PunctSURE, the patented, portable device is designed to improve procedural accuracy, efficiency, and safety for clinicians. The device offers real-time procedure monitoring and is the only vascular access imaging system to offer hands-free operation and dual-view imaging, states Inceptio Medical Technologies (Kaysville, UT, USA), which developed PunctSURE. Included are a user-friendly software interface, a large dual-image display screen, and disposable procedure kits containing all the necessary components for each procedure.

"With impressive state-of-the-art technology, unique features, and a sleek compact design, we are confident PunctSURE will become a standout in this category,” said Bob Evensen, executive director of sales and marketing at Inceptio Medical Technologies.
