Mindray (Shenzhen, China) showcased its latest innovations in medical imaging and peri-operative care at the 2022 edition of Arab Health held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 24 to 27.
Mindray’s innovative new products for peri-operative care displayed at the event included the A9/A8 anesthesia systems that ensure all-round safety throughout the peri-operative periods to improve patient outcomes and ease clinician’s stress. Mindray's new anesthesia systems empower anesthesiologists to ensure comprehensive patient safety throughout the perioperative period, from induction to recovery. Using High Flow Nasal Cannula oxygen (HFNC), the A9/A8 anesthesia systems extend safe apnoeic time from 8 to up to 30 minutes to help clinicians intubate more easily. The machines also integrate Automatic Controlled Anesthesia (ACA), a pioneering assistive technology that automatically adjusts fresh gas and vaporizer output to quickly achieve preset target end-tidal agent and inspiratory oxygen concentration, ensuring accurate and stable levels of anesthesia. The technology also helps cut down on workload for clinicians; while reducing cost by minimizing the consumption of gas and agents used throughout the case.
In addition, Mindray exhibited the Nuewa I9, its latest cart-based ultrasound system and tailored solution for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). Nuewa I9 boasts a well-thought-out design for the ultimate convenience. Its foldable height and compact body allow the system to easily pass through doors for quick access across departments. Meanwhile, the breakthrough exam-specific iConsole control panel is optimized to adapt to different clinical scenarios, and its E-ink keys can be easily customized for the most frequently used functions. The entire solution is powered by Mindray’s revolutionary ZST+ platform, which overcomes traditional trade-off limitations to deliver exceptional image quality for infinite imaging solutions with non-stop improvements. Nuewa I9 is also packed with automated tools to improve workflow and efficiency in women’s and neonatal care, such as Smart-VTrace, Smart Pelvic and Smart Hip.
One of the biggest innovations featured in Mindray’s Nuewa I9 is Smart Scene 3D, a scenario-oriented volume scan technique that enables the automatic identification of tissue characteristics and provides an organ-specific diagnosis. The technology supports the whole examination procedure starting with auto clinical scenario identification, then harnesses automation at every point from imaging optimization to plane acquisition, quantification, and the creation of an automated workflow. As a result, Nuewa I9 alleviates the workload of manual operation; reduces scanning time for individual patients; and delivers a truly easy, accurate and fast diagnosis.
Mindray also showcased its Resona series of ultrasound systems that provides comprehensive general imaging solutions for more precise diagnosis and treatment; its cardiovascular ultrasound solutions that bring enhanced diagnostic experience with highly sensitive and accurate echo detection and innovative transducer technologies; and its TE tablet series ultrasound and M series handhold ultrasound that provide dedicated POC solutions across floors.
