Endotracheal intubation in the ICU is a challenging procedure and is frequently associated with life-threatening complications. Timesco Healthcare (Essex, UK) is launching its new video laryngoscope to support intubation in patients with difficult airways at Arab Health 2023. Joining the ABHI UK Pavilion, the company is demonstrating how its new Optima View laryngoscope system can improve visualization, reduce complications, and improve the success rate of tracheal intubation in pre-hospital settings.
An optimized view of the vocal cords is a key element in enabling higher first-attempt intubation success rate. Timesco’s Optima View video laryngoscope is designed to offer crystal clear color-correct output using a high-resolution, wide-angle integrated camera and video display monitor. The 3.75” LCD display rotates 180 degrees and tilts 110 degrees, allowing for easy viewing and an opportunity for convenient teaching with multiple viewers. Along with HDMI connectivity and data transfer via USB, Timesco’s Optima View video laryngoscope ranges are available as reusable or single-use systems. The company also offers a range of single-use Optima View Macintosh video laryngoscope blades that aim to increase the ease of intubation while reducing the risks of cross infection and eliminating reprocessing costs. Besides showcasing the new system, Timesco is also presenting its anesthesia, surgical instruments, and diagnostics ranges at this year’s show. The company is also offering demonstration units and a video presentation at its stand.
“Timesco is proud to have exhibited at the show many times since the first conference in 1975 and we are pleased to be continuing to support the event in 2023. We are delighted to be joining the ABHI UK Pavilion, where we will display our extensive range of premium quality products,” said Ismail Fayyaz, international manager of Timesco Healthcare. “This year, we are particularly excited to launch our brand-new video laryngoscope, Optima View. We will have our team of experienced sales staff from Timesco and local multilingual representatives to assist customers with anything regarding our products and service. We look forward to making new connections and forming new partnerships at this year’s event.”
