Video Streaming System Promotes Efficiency in the Operating Room

The OpenOR over IP integrated operating room system makes use of medically certified internet protocol (IP) technology, which enables high quality video transmission with zero latency. The transmission technology allows streaming of unpacked audio, video and images, such as high definition (HD), three-dimensional (3D), and picture in picture (PiP) feeds without latency, providing a positive impact on surgical performance and patient safety.
