Web-Based Radiology Image/Patient Management Systems Built on a Single Database Platform

Newly developed tools for web-based image management systems are helping to provide the stability, performance, and security for imaging facilities.

It now offers enhanced functionality such as window/level and the ability to view more than one image at a time. Database optimizations have also been made to additionally speed up data transfer as well as compression/decompression rates of images without sacrificing image quality. This is especially noticeable on large images such as mammography and tomosynthesis studies. PowerServer 6.0 also supports localization for international markets. It supports multiple languages, including Asian languages, as well as customization to local healthcare requirements.
