Edan Instruments (Shenzhen, China) presented its intelligent healthcare solutions that address a broad range of healthcare practices, including diagnostic ECG, OB/GYN, ultrasound Imaging, IVD, patient monitoring, and POC testing, at Arab Health 2021.
Edan introduced the new H30 Pro, a robust 3-part hematology analyzer that integrates a range of advanced features intended for a cost-minded and quality-focused clinical laboratory. The instrument’s enhanced specification expands clinical capabilities while its brand new operating system simplifies the working process. The quality hardware components ensure reliable performance, and the improved fluidic system reduces reagent consumption.
At this year’s edition of Arab Health, Edan also presented m16, the world's first Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR) magnetic immunoassay system. The m16, a POCT magnetic immunoassay analyzer with advanced magnetic bead-linked GMR biosensor, can maximize and shorten the clinical laboratory's turn around period, optimize the clinical treatment's efficiency, thereby providing faster, more accurate results. m16's active biochip with microfluidic technology utilizes physical forces and fields that are directly applied during chip fabrication. With its features of rapidity, high-efficiency and automation, m16 achieves the construction of real lab-on-a-chip with great reproducibility and accuracy of results.
In addition, Edan featured the F15 and F15 Air, the next generation fetal and maternal monitors with advanced communication that integrates fetal and maternal parameters to support monitoring in all phases. Aside from their state-of-art design, delicate appearance and strong mechanical structure, the fetal and maternal monitors feature automatic probe activation and wireless charging in order to ensure smooth and continued monitoring.
Edan also exhibited the i15 blood gas and chemistry analysis system that is lightweight, portable, and easy to use. With a user-friendly design requiring zero maintenance, it makes patient-side blood testing efficient and convenient. Unlike other analyzers, it utilizes auto-sampling, reducing the risk of sample contamination and inaccurate results. Employing original manufactured traceable reagent packs, internal quality control, and an electronic simulator, i15 provides many time-sensitive tests results accurately in under a minute. Its single-use disposable cartridges help health care professionals to provide better, more effective care, while its advanced biosensor technology enables end-users to test up to 15 parameters at one time.
