GE Healthcare Showcases Intelligently Efficient Offerings at Arab Health 2021

GE Healthcare (Chicago, IL, USA) demonstrated at Arab Health 2021 how the company is opening a world of possibilities with its intelligently efficient offerings, including its latest MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography systems.
Among its medical imaging products showcased by GE at this year’s Arab Health was the powerful, high-performing, reliable Revolution Maxima CT system that is designed to maximize every step of the CT workflow, from referral to report, and is setting a new standard in CT operations with the breakthrough One Click AI-based Auto Positioning. GE also highlighted the premium GNA Voyager Premier Edition, its 1.5T, 70 cm wide bore MRI system that leverages AIR for clinical versatility and patient comfort, intelligent productivity improvements with exceptional image quality. GE showcased a range of mammography systems, including the Senographe Pristina & Dueta, and the Senographe Crystal Nova, a full field digital mammography system designed for radiologists who want to increase their diagnostic confidence required for screening and diagnostics in Breast Cancer care.
GE displayed the AMX 240 which is designed to be the highest resolution pediatric capable mobile X-ray systems in the industry, alongside its Thoracic Care Suite that offers AI detection of eight abnormal chest radiograph findings which also support Tuberculosis detection and help find Pneumonia or ground glass opacities, which are indicative of COVID-19. Among GE’s ultrasound offerings on display were the next-generation LOGIQ E10 Ultrasound Series, the INVENIA ABUS 2.0, LOGIQ P9, Versana Premier, Vivid E95 Ultra Edition, and Voluson Swift. Of particular interest was Vscan Air, a battery-operated general-purpose diagnostic ultrasound imaging system for use by qualified and trained healthcare professionals or practitioners. It enables ultrasound imaging guidance, visualization and measurement of anatomical structures and fluid.
In the area of surgical imaging, GE highlighted its new OEC 3D C-arm that is designed to bring high-definition 3D and 2D images covering a large FOV to surgical suites and integrating into existing surgical workflows. Also on display was the OEC Elite CFD with Touch Tableside that offers stunning image clarity and detail at low dose with enhancements for an easy and efficient experience; alongside the new OEC One CFD, a compact mobile C-arm with 21cm or 31cm CMOS flat panel detector (CFD) that delivers a clear view of anatomy across procedural settings in a synchronized, all-in-one workflow.
Additionally, GE featured its digital healthcare solutions such as the Edison Open AI Orchestrator that enables quick deployment of new applications, easy configuration of workflows and algorithm parameters, and provides the ability to easily experiment, measure, and optimize results. GE also displayed its Centricity Open PACS AI Solution that combines the power of AI with robust automation tools, providing functionalities and capabilities that weren’t before possible. The company showcased its Edison Datalogue Solutions for connecting healthcare organizations to the community and providing advanced coordination, business intelligence and a patient-centric, enterprise-wide imaging record to healthcare providers and administration.
