BARCO (Kortrijk, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium) presented its range of medical imaging solutions, including surgical displays, mammography, diagnostic, clinical review displays and mobile point-of-care devices, at Arab Health 2020.

At this year’s Arab Health, BARCO highlighted its Coronis Uniti (MDMC-12133) which is the only display explicitly designed for both PACS and breast imaging. Coronis Uniti delivers the first unified workflow – combining PACS and breast images on one workstation, replacing all display configurations and eliminating the need for a multi-head display set-up or to move to another workstation to view additional exams. Coronis Uniti features a 12 MP screen for sharp and precise images, and is calibrated to meet the DICOM standard for grayscales and to guarantee consistent, perceptually linear color – an industry first.

Other concepts presented by BARCO at the show was the MDSC-2324, a 24-inch near-patient surgical display with LED backlight, featuring full HD resolution and a wide color gamut that is purpose-built for the operating room; the MDSC-8255, a 55-inch surgical display purpose-built for ultra-high resolution, multi-image viewing in the digital operating room; the MDSC-8231, a 31-inch, near-patient, high-brightness surgical display that is purpose-built for 4K imaging in the digital operating room and interventional radiology control room; the Nio Color 5MP high-bright color display that offers super bright, color calibrated and the most detailed medical images, including mammography and breast tomosynthesis; the MDSC-2124, a 24-inch near-patient surgical display that uses widescreen (16:10) LCD technology featuring full High Definition resolution (1920 x 1200); the Nio Color 2MP LED, a 2 MP color display system with LED backlights, providing excellent image quality for confident diagnoses; and the Coronis Fusion 6MP (MDCC-6530) diagnostic color display system featuring a 30-inch screen. BARCO also showcased its Nexxis video-over-IP platform for the integrated digital operating room and the Nexxis WorkSpot control room solution for interventional surgery.
